"Truth will stand proud and erect, unsullied and uncontaminated by the pestiferous breath of calumniating mortals, and no power can stay its progress." -John Taylor (1850)

This is a collection of the many church videos I've found on the internet. Each invites the Spirit, and they're great for Family Home Evening lessons, especially the videos with multiple parts. The videos that consist of a slideshow and music in the background are good to listen to while doing other things on the computer. They're all of very high worth, or else I wouldn't have put them on here. Enjoy!

The Truth of God

EFY Medley

As sisters in Zion we'll all work together
The blessings of God on our labors we'll seek
We'll build up his kingdom with earnest endeavor
We'll comfort the weary and strengthen the weak

We are daughters of our Heavenly Father
Who loves us and we love him.
Yes, we love him.

As sisters in Zion
As daughters of God

We have been born as Nephi of old
To goodly parents who love the Lord
We have been taught and we understand
That we must do as the Lord commands

We are as the army of Helaman
We have been taught in our youth
And we will be the Lord's missionaries
To bring the world his truth

As sisters in Zion
A marked generation
As children of God

Praise to the man who communed with Jehovah!
Jesus annointed that Prophet and Seer.
Blessed to open the last dispensation,
Kings shall extol him, and nations revere.

Hail to the Prophet, ascended to heaven!
Traitors and tyrants now fight him in vain.
Mingling with Gods, he can plan for his brethren;
Death cannot conquer the hero again.

Praise to his mem'ry, he died as a martyr;
Honored and blest be his ever great name!
Long shall his blood, which was shed by assasins,
Plead unto heav'n while the earth lauds his fame.

Great is his glory and endless his priesthood.
Ever and ever the keys he will hold.
Faithful and true he will enter his kingdom,
Crowned in the midst of the prophets of old.

Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven;
Earth must atone for the blood of that man.
Wake up the world for the conflict of justice.
Millions shall know "Brother Joseph" again.

Praise to the Man

O give me back my Prophet dear,
And Patriarch, O give them back;
The Saints of latter days to cheer,
And lead them in the gospel track.
But oh! they're gone from my embrace,
From earthly scenes their spirits fled;
Two of the best of Adam's race,
Now lie entombed among the dead.

Ye men of wisdom tell me why,
No guilt, no crime in them were found,
Their blood doth now so loudly cry,
From prison walls, and Carthage ground.
Your tongues are mute, but pray attend,
The secret I will now relate,
Why those whom God to earth did lend,
Have met the suffering martyr's fate.

O give me back my prophet dear.
O, Give Me Back My Prophet Dear
I Know That My Redeemer Lives

I know that my Redeemer lives;
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, He lives, who once was dead;
He lives, my ever living Head.
He lives to bless me with His love,
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed,
He lives to help in time of need.

He lives triumphant from the grave,
He lives eternally to save,
He lives all glorious in the sky,
He lives exalted there on high.
He lives to grant me rich supply,
He lives to guide me with His eye,
He lives to comfort me when faint,
He lives to hear my soul’s complaint.

He lives to silence all my fears,
He lives to wipe away my tears
He lives to calm my troubled heart,
He lives all blessings to impart.
He lives, my kind, wise, heavenly Friend,
He lives and loves me to the end;
He lives, and while He lives, I’ll sing;
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King.

He lives and grants me daily breath;
He lives, and I shall conquer death:
He lives my mansion to prepare;
He lives to bring me safely there.
He lives, all glory to His Name!
He lives, my Jesus, still the same.
Oh, the sweet joy this sentence gives,
I know that my Redeemer lives!

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy redeeming love.

Sorrowing I shall be in spirit,
Till released from flesh and sin,
Yet from what I do inherit,
Here Thy praises I’ll begin;
Here I raise my Ebenezer;
Here by Thy great help I’ve come;
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure,
Safely to arrive at home.

Jesus sought me when a stranger,
Wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed His precious blood;
How His kindness yet pursues me
Mortal tongue can never tell,
Clothed in flesh, till death shall loose me
I cannot proclaim it well.

O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above.

O that day when freed from sinning,
I shall see Thy lovely face;
Clothed then in blood washed linen
How I’ll sing Thy sovereign grace;
Come, my Lord, no longer tarry,
Take my ransomed soul away;
Send thine angels now to carry
Me to realms of endless day.

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Joseph Smith - The Prophet (version 1)

Praise the Man

One spring morning in a grove
One boy seeking truth foretold
The heavens opened, he was heard
One prayer answered changed the world

Faithful to the light revealed
With his life his word was sealed
Now like a stone cut without hands
Truth is flooding every land

Blessed prophet we revere
Mighty servant, chosen seer
With the Father he now stands
Blessed Joseph, praise the man

Praise to the man who communed with Jehovah
Jesus anointed that prophet and seer
Blessed to open this last dispensation
Kings shall extol him and nations revere

Feel the spirit's voice confirm
Living truth is on the earth
With the power of truth restored
We will stand and serve the Lord

We have been saved for these latter days
To build the kingdom in righteous ways
Daily we'll learn until we are called
To preach the gospel to all the world

Hail to the Prophet ascended to heaven
Traitors and tyrants now fight him in vain
Mingling with Gods he can plan for his brethren
Death cannot conquer the hero again

The Spirit of God like a fire is burning!
The latter-day glory begins to come forth;
The visions and blessings of old are returning,
And angels are coming to visit the earth.

We'll sing and we'll shout with the angels of heaven,
Hosannah, hosannah to God and the Lamb!
Let glory to them in the highest be given,
Henceforth and forever, Amen and amen!

The Lord is extending his saints' understanding,
Restoring their judges and all as at first.
The knowledge and power of God are expanding;
The veil o'er the earth is beginning to burst.

We'll call in our solemn assemblies, in spirit,
To spread forth the kingdom of heaven abroad,
That we through our faith may begin to inherit
The visions and blessings and glories of God.

How blessed the day when the lamb and the lion
Shall lie down together without any ire,
And Ephraim be crowned with his blessing in Zion,
As Jesus descends with his chariot of fire!

Soul, Heart and Mind

One solitary question
Opened heaven once again
Bringing in the restoration
Piercing veils and parting friends
And we hung on every line
Every point of belief he would define
And love filled the chasm of time
And began to overflow
Soul, heart, and mind

Waiting through the persecution
With a glance he caught my eye
And for a final contribution
Asked if I for him would die
Then he pierced my very soul
Every motive, thought, intent he seemed to know
In a breath he said, “My friend, it is my time.
Stay true to the truth,
Soul, heart, and mind.”

I hope he’s smiling down on me
From where his soul is finally free
With a love you can’t define
And I pray that one day we might be
One for all in unity
Live forever bound in time
Soul, heart, and mind

With no hand of hesitation
Keeping heaven in his sight
He gave it all for restoration
And made the beeline for the light
And I can’t help but think about him
Every chapter, every verse, and every line
And praise to his undivided vision
Ever cleaving to the truth
Soul, heart, and mind

I hope he’s smiling down on me
From where his soul is finally free
With a love you can’t define
And I pray that one day we might be
One for all in unity
Live forever bound in time
Soul, heart, and mind
Soul, heart, and mind

Joseph Smith - The Prophet (version 2)
For Our Day

The words of a book, like heavenly sounds
Have spoken to us from out of the ground
This voice from the past, now heard in our day
Is a work and a wonder today
A voice we can trust that cries from the dust
And it's speaking to us

In our day when people hunger
For our time when good men wander
A book is designed to give help divine
For our day

The words of a book that shine as a light
Have opened our eyes and restored our sight
The light of the Lord that shows us the way
Is a marvelous work and a wonder
A light for our time to brighten our minds
It gives sight to the blind

In our day when people hunger
For our time when good men wander
A book is designed to give help divine
For our day

This book of books like an iron rod
Leads to the fruit of the Love of God

In our day when people hunger
For our time when good men wander
A book is designed to give help divine
For our day
